Enrolment of permanent AF patients: screening tip

The site in Brandenburg contacts its hospital’s internal controlling department, which has access to all hospital records. The controlling department compiles a monthly list of patients with the ICD code I48.2 which defines patients with permanent atrial fibrillation. All potential patients of this list are then called by the study team and asked about possible participation.
