EAST-STROKE Videointerview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Dr. med. G\u00f6tz Thomalla (UKE) and Dr. med. M\u00e4rit Jensen (UKE) have recorded a video on the new EAST-STROKE trial in layman\u2019s terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EAST-STROKE (\u2018Early treatment of Atrial fibrillation for Stroke prevention Trial in acute STROKE\u2019) trial is led by scientist from the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and investigates whether early rhythm-control treatment can effectively and safely prevent strokes. The project is funded by the EU as part of \u2018Horizon Europe\u2019. AFNET is partner for dissemination and exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
