Interested parties submit their abstract to the DGK annual conference. The four best abstracts in the field of atrial fibrillation will be selected on the basis of the evaluations submitted by the reviewers and nominated for the AFNET DGK Young Investigator Award for Atrial Fibrillation. The four candidates will present their papers at the congress in a joint session. Following the session, the Board of Trustees, consisting of two AFNET representatives, one AGEP representative and one Young DGK representative, will select the first award winner. The first prize winner receives \u20ac1,500, the other candidates receive \u20ac500.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>AFNET DGK Lecture Award:<\/strong><br>The Lecture supports translational research in the field of cardiac arrhythmias from the bedside to the laboratory and is awarded to recognise longstanding contributions to the field of cardiac arrhythmias. It is an honorary award. The nominee is selected by a board of trustees consisting of two AFNET board members, an AGEP representative and a member of the DGK programme committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-contrast-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9fae4ffadb1c863d4d2aaa4b44df2a34\">Both awards are presented annually at the DGK Spring Conference.
