American Heart Association (AHA) Congress 2025

8th of November 2025: The results of the CLOSURE-AF-DZHK16 and OCEAN trial were presented during the Late-Breaking Scientific Sessions of the American Heart Association (AHA). The presentations provided valuable insights and exciting new findings.

AFNET is pleased to have supported these important studies and warmly thanks all contributors and partners for their outstanding collaboration and dedication.

ESC Congress 2025

Three days of concentrated research: From August 29th to September 1st 2025 AFNET presented itself at the international ESC Congress in Madrid.

Besides internal study meetings, the focus was on exciting presentations in which the latest results from the EAST-AFNET4 and NOAH-AFNET6 studies were presented.

We were delighted to see familiar faces again, meet international researchers on site and follow their exciting presentations.

A big thank you goes to our colleagues at EHRA for a thoroughly successful event.

DGK Heart Days 2025

This year marked a milestone for AFNET — our very first booth at the DGK Heart Days in Hamburg.

Many visitors took the opportunity to find out about our current projects and talk to us.

There were opportunities for exchange at study meetings for our MAESTRIA-AFNET 10 and EASThigh-AFNET 11 projects.

MAESTRIA Consortium Meeting took place on 8 & 9 of May at the Sorbonne University

The leaders of the different work packages (WP1-WP8) presented their results from the respective sub-projects and defined further milestones. In addition to the work on AI analyses, Prof. Andreas Götte (WP4 leader) presented the successful implementation of the MAESTRIA-AFNET 10 cohort. AFNET is thus making an important contribution to the success of the MAESTRIA project. Many thanks to the Sorbonne team of Stéphane Hatem for their hospitality and fantastic meeting. AFNET is delighted to be a full partner in this inspiring scientific consortium.
